Nov 2009: Jacksonville Sheriff’s Detective Robert “Bobby” Ford, dies in the line of duty.
Witness called police upon seeing him slumped over in his assigned unmarked police vehicle. 
 While the  autopsy report is still pending to determine the cause of death,  Sheriff Rutherford said it was likely a heart attack.
